Hi, Flip —
That's very kind of you. We are a
100% Lay-driven apostolate of the
Church under Canons 215 and 225 § 1
and § 2. All our work (answering
questions) is a volunteer effort,
although I do send out occasional
gift certificates to the team for
their great work.
What would be very helpful is if
you wish to contribute to my
FREE Catechism of the Catholic
Church for Protestants program
This program is increasing year
after year. For every $200. I can
buy another box of Catechisms.
The other big expenditure for this apostolate is cost of postage. For every $100. I can buy a block of 20 stamps that would cover most my postage costs for 10 Catechisms.
Due to the passing of my mother,
Dorothy Humphrey, on January 31,
2011. I have been forced to run
this and my other apostolates, sporadically,
and on a donation basis. I've
been unemployed for a long period
of time and the Lord has not provided
me with any work where I can support
myself or my apostolates. Because
of this, I also have to save up to
pay for the required postage
to ship each Catechism before starting
the program up again.
That said, for every box of Catechisms
I buy, I need around
$150.00 to ship them all and put
in the extra stuff I send.
You can donate two ways by going
here:

Why am I doing this?
Like I say on the page, I don't think
someone should have to pay to learn
about a faith they know little to
nothing about!
Send whatever the Holy Spirit guides
you to. I always welcome the widow's
mite. Over ten years ago, I received
a $1.00 bill from a little old lady.
On the outside she wrote in pencil:
My very
humble donation.
To this day, I still have it in front
of my PC.
Thanks for your support Flip!
It is appreciated.
Mike
